This explains what Eclipse Trading collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account details: your name and email address, and your password in protected form.
Platform activity: your accounts, orders, positions, results, payout requests and the costs charged.
Free account applications: the usernames you submit and the screenshots you upload.
Technical data: your IP address, browser and device details, and a record of when you accepted our terms.
Why we use it
To create and run your account, calculate your results, review applications and payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, keep records we are required to keep, and respond to you. We do not sell your personal data.
Who sees it
Service providers that help us run Eclipse, such as hosting, database, messaging and payment providers, only for the purposes above. Application details and screenshots are shared with our review team through our private review channel.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our users and platform.
How long we keep it
Screenshots are deleted as soon as an application is decided. Account and trading records are kept while your account exists and for as long afterwards as we need them for legal, tax and fraud-prevention reasons. Records of your acceptance of our terms are kept to prove what you agreed to.
Security
We protect data with access controls, encryption in transit and limits on who can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Cookies and storage
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember your choices. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, subject to records we must keep. Deleting data can close your account.
You can reach us through the support channels in our community server.
Where data is processed
Our providers may process data in other countries. By using Eclipse you understand your data may be transferred there.
Children and changes
Eclipse is for people 18 and over. We may update this policy and will show the new date when we do.
